MMOP applications from outside the European Economic Area
Who's concerned?
The "dispensation d'études" (exemption from studies) allows access to medical, midwifery, dentistry and pharmacy (MMOP) courses for holders of an MMOP diploma validated in another country:
> a member state of the European Union
> a State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area
> than the Swiss Confederation or the Principality of Andorra
or for people who have completed all or part of the studies required to obtain these diplomas.
MMOP application
According to theorder of December 13, 2019:
You can apply twice for admission to MMOP programs at a French university.
This application can be :
- submitted as part of a PASS or LAS training program, in which case it is not possible to obtain a study waiver.
- or submitted directly to the MMOP admission panel. Admissible applications will be examined by the admissions jury under the conditions set out in articles 11 and 12 of the Order of November 4, 2019, with the candidate's training pathway (diploma obtained or partial course validated) replacing the PASS or LAS training pathway. In this case only, candidates who have passed the admission tests, i.e. if they are admitted to the second year of MMOP, may apply for a study waiver, enabling them to go directly to the 3rd and up to the 4th year of training, depending on the pathway.
Admission
Applications are reviewed by the MMOP admissions panel.
Depending on the results, admission may be direct after the first group of tests, or subject to the oral tests of the second group.
