Bridging admissions allow holders of certain qualifications or diplomasdirect access to the 2nd or 3rd year of one of France's four health courses (Medicine, Maïeutics, Odontology, Pharmacy), without having to pass the first year of health studies or the MMOP entrance exams.

Candidates can indicate whether they wish to be admitted in 2nd or 3rd year , but only the jury has the final say and will assign candidates declared admitted to one of the two years.

It is forbidden to apply in the same year to several establishments and/or in several fields.

The right to apply for bridging admission is limited: no-one can be admitted more than twice.

unwinding

between February 1 and March 15 of each year: candidates submit their online application on the Université de Montpellier's eCandidat bleue application system.

the application file is made up of documents listed in detail on the modified order of March 24, 2017. (see "file constitution" tab)

early April: the faculties of medicine, odontology and pharmacy, and the maieutics department of the University of Montpellier, send their eligible applications to the centralizing office, which again checks applications and ensures that there are no multiple applications at national level.
April/May: eligible applications are forwarded to the Passerelles commission, which examines them during the eligibility phase.
2025 Eligibility Commission for the 2025-2026 academic year: Thursday April 17, 2025
May/June: candidates declared eligible are invited to a 10-minute oral interview (5 minutes presentation + 5 minutes questions) during the admission phase. Oral interviews are conducted face-to-face only (no remote interviews). In keeping with the principle of equal treatment of applications, no exceptions will be made.
- Eligible candidates are invited to the oral interview by e-mail from the centralizing office.
- Admitted candidates are informed by e-mail from the centralizing office.
- Non-eligible and non-admitted candidates are informed by e-mail by the faculty/department to which they applied.
- The list of eligible candidates and the list of admitted candidates (minutes) are posted on this page under the "results" tab.
