The School of Pharmacy
Founded more than 200 years ago, the Montpellier School of Pharmacy ranks among the largest in France, with nearly 3,000 students and nearly 400 faculty members, researchers, and administrative and technical staff. Deeply rooted in its local community, the faculty plays a vital role in Montpellier’s pharmaceutical sciences by offering programs that address scientific and societal challenges and by contributing to the advancement of research in fields of excellence such as chemistry, the environment, and agricultural sciences.
The School of Pharmacy is:
- Optimal learning conditions and an exceptional environment for our students. On a human scale, located on a 3-hectare campus and surrounded by sports facilities, it boasts a vibrant student club scene (cultural, humanitarian, and even social).
- High-quality education, with faculty members actively engaged in both pedagogical and scientific aspects through a diverse range of training programs that align with the expectations of professionals.
- Support for students through a tutoring program that has been in place for many years.
- Strong research potential that contributes to the relevance of the programs offered and to the visibility of research teams in biology, health, chemistry, and at the intersections of these fields.
- A strong international focus, particularly through the establishment of numerous Erasmus agreements.
- A legacy that traces the origins of this institution, with its rich and prestigious history, through an apothecary’s diploma that has been awarded since the16th century.
