Research

The Faculty brings together around 180 teacher-researchers (including temporary teaching and research staff) and joint appointees (from the University Hospitals of Montpellier and Nîmes), as well as about 70 administrative and technical staff, all actively involved in research at the University of Montpellier.

They are members of research teams within Research Units (Équipes d’Accueil – EA or Unités Mixtes de Recherche – UMR), affiliated with five research centers at the University of Montpellier:

  • Chemistry
  • Agriculture, Environment, Biodiversity (AEB)
  • Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Systems (MIPS)
  • Social Sciences (SOC)
