Health Care Career Pathways (MMOP)

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The application process is online and must be completed using the University of Montpellier’s blue eCandidat application.

This information page on Passerelles admissions is updated by February 1 of each year.

Please carefully read all the information and documents available on this website before contacting the Registrar’s Office.
We will not respond to questions that are already answered on the website.

Transfer admissions allow holders of certain degrees or diplomasto enter directly into the second or third year of one of the four health-related degree programs in France (Medicine, Midwifery, Dentistry, Pharmacy), without having to complete the first year of health studies or take the MMOP entrance exams.

Applicants may indicate whether they wish to be admitted to the second or third year, but the admissions committee has the final say and will place admitted applicants in one of the two years.

Applicants are not permitted to applyto multiple institutionsand/orprograms inthe same year.

The right to apply for a bridge admission is limited: no one may make more than two attempts.

Procedure
  • Between February 1 and March 15 of each year: Applicants submit their online application through the University of Montpellier’s eCandidat bleue application system.

The application package consists of documents listed in detail in the amended decree of March 24, 2017. (See the “Compiling the Application Package” tab.)

  • Early April: The schools of medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy, as well as the Department of Midwifery at the University of Montpellier, submit their eligible applications to the central processing office, which reviews the applications once again and verifies that there are no multiple applications at the national level.
  • April/May: Eligible applications are forwarded to the Passerelles Committee, which reviews them during the eligibility phase.
