Bachelor of Life Sciences
, Health Engineering Track

The Health Engineering track of the Bachelor of Life Sciences program is designed to provide students with the necessary prerequisites to pursue a professional or research-oriented master’s degree in the health sector, including the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, and biotechnology industries, as well as the fields of public health and environmental safety.

The second and third years of the bachelor’s degree program are administered by the School of Pharmacy. These years feature a curriculum with a strong professional focus, including regular guest lectures by healthcare professionals and internships in the industry. These guest lectures help students narrow their focus within the broad field of knowledge and gain an understanding of corporate culture.

Career opportunities

The Health Engineering track is a preparatory program for the Professional Master’s in Health Engineering. Upon completing their bachelor’s degree, students may choose one of the specializations offered starting in the first year of the master’s program. They may then transition to a project management track in the second year of the master’s program, leading to a career as a manager.

The Bachelor's program serves as a gateway to the Master's in Biology and Health or other health-related Master's programs offered at other universities.
