The State Doctor of Pharmacy Degree

To earn the State Degree of Doctor of Pharmacy and be eligible to practice as a pharmacist, you must complete at least six years of study at the university. To pursue a specialization or a career in research, nine years of study are required. This degree opens up numerous career opportunities, including community pharmacies, the pharmaceutical industry, hospital pharmacy, clinical laboratory science, research, and pharmaceutical distribution.
