Albert Ciurana Pharmacy Museum

Founded in 1972 by Albert Ciurana, a community pharmacist, this “Pharmacy Museum” serves as a repository of the profession’s history, passing on to future pharmacists the knowledge accumulated over the centuries and enabling them to proudly embark on their professional careers.

For our students as well as the general public, the museum explores the long history of pharmacy in Montpellier, the discoveries made by the faculty’s professors, the teaching of the art of pharmacy, the various facets of the profession, and the evolution of medicine.

Constantly supported by donations, it is run by volunteer licensed pharmacists.
