Albert Ciurana Pharmacy Museum

Founded in 1972 by Albert Ciurana, a community pharmacist, this “Pharmacy Museum” serves as a repository of the profession’s history, passing on the accumulated knowledge of past centuries to future pharmacists and enabling them to embark proudly on their professional careers.

For our students as well as the general public, the museum explores the long history of pharmacy in Montpellier, the discoveries made by the faculty’s professors, the teaching of the pharmaceutical arts, the various aspects of the profession, and the evolution of medicine.

It is constantly supported by donations and run by volunteer licensed pharmacists.
