Albert Ciurana Pharmacy Museum

Founded in 1972 by Albert Ciurana, a dispensary pharmacist, the "Musée de la Pharmacie" is a repository of the profession's heritage, passing on to future pharmacists all the knowledge acquired over the centuries, and enabling them to take a proud step towards their professional future.

For students and lay visitors alike, the museum evokes the long history of Pharmacy in Montpellier, the discoveries of the faculty's masters, the teaching of the pharmaceutical art, the various facets of the profession and the evolution of medicines.

Constantly enriched by donations, it is run by volunteer pharmacists.
