Nature Festival

As part of Nature Day, the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Montpellier is offering a biodiversity awareness day entitled "Plants and Health" for fourth and fifth grade classes.

Program:

The students, divided into small groups, will participate in six educational workshops on plants and biodiversity:

• "Microscopy": Observation of plant tissues
• "Scents": Essential oil distillation
• "Colors": Experiments with color reactions
• "Herbarium": Creation of a herbarium sheet
• Digitization: Discovering and preserving old herbariums
• "Droguier": Immersion in a unique collection of medicinal plants
