Nature Festival

As part of Nature Day, the University of Montpellier’s School of Pharmacy is hosting a biodiversity awareness day titled “Plants and Health” for fourth- and fifth-grade classes.

Program:

The students, divided into small groups, will participate in six educational workshops on plants and biodiversity:

• "Microscopy": Observation of plant tissues
• “Scents ”: Essential Oil Distillation
• “Colors ”: Experiments with Color Reactions
• “Herbarium ”: Creating a herbarium sheet
• “Digitization ”: Discovery and Preservation of Historic Herbariums
• “Droguier ”: A Deep Dive into a Unique Collection of Medicinal Plants
