Blood donation

The perfect opportunity to honor donors and encourage everyone to join this wonderful chain of solidarity.

March is also Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. All the more reason to take action and support patients by donating blood.

Every gesture counts!

To donate blood, you must :

  • Between the ages of 18 and 70
  • Weigh at least 50kgs
  • Provide photo identification

Before coming to the hospital, remember to take the online test* on the EFS website to find out if you have any contraindications.

From your arrival to your departure, allow between 45 min and 1 hour (donating itself lasts only 10 minutes on average). It's best to eat beforehand and stay well hydrated throughout the donation.
