Blood drive

  • Dates: January 20–21, 2025
  • Location: Hall A, School of Pharmacy

Want to get involved and do something to help others and give back to the community? Come donate blood at the School of Pharmacy!

Donating blood means contributing to the healthcare system and helping many patients every year. This can be in cases of cancer, blood disorders, significant bleeding during surgery, or childbirth.

To donate blood, you need to:

  • Be between the ages of 18 and 70
  • Weigh at least 50 kg
  • Bring a photo ID

Before you come in, you can take the online test on the EFS website to find out if you have any contraindications.

From the time you arrive until you leave, allow between 45 minutes and 1 hour (don’t worry—the donation itself takes only about 10 minutes on average). Keep in mind that it’s best to eat beforehand and stay well-hydrated throughout the donation.

We hope to see many of you there!
