Would you like to do something for the community? Come and give blood at the Faculty of Pharmacy!
Donating blood means contributing to the healthcare system and helping many patients every year. This can be in cases of cancer, blood disease, severe bleeding during surgery or childbirth.
To donate blood, you must :
- Between the ages of 18 and 70
- Weigh at least 50kgs
- Provide photo identification
Before going to the hospital, you can take the online test on the EFS website to find out if you are affected by any contraindications.
From your arrival to your departure, allow between 45 min and 1 hour(donating itself lasts only 10 minutes on average). It's best to eat beforehand and stay well hydrated throughout the donation.
