Studying abroad
The Erasmus+ program allows students to spend 9 to 10 months studying in a European country with which the Montpellier Faculty of Pharmacy has signed an inter-institutional agreement:available destinations.
This exchange program is designed for third-year students participating in academic exchange programs. It may be extended to fourth- and fifth-year students in the pharmacy program to complete their internships (in research and industry).
For students in programs other than pharmacy, please contact your program advisors and the BRIto learn about the mobility opportunities available to you.
Requirements for moving abroad
- You must be enrolled in the School of Pharmacy before you leave
- You need to pass your academic year
- You must compile the various components of the ERASMUS administrative and academic file in accordance with the required procedures and deadlines.
Planning Your Trip
A stay abroad should be planned 10 months in advance
- Students wishing to participate in an exchange program must prepare an administrative and academic application. They should contact the administrative coordinator (Ms. Fleur Lorrain), who will provide them with the necessary forms and information.
- To choose courses that are as similar as possible to those at your home university, you should review the course catalogs ofpartner universities on their websites. After reviewing the courses, you should contact the faculty members responsible for your chosen destination, who are designated as coordinators. The coordinator will help you prepare your learning agreement. This agreement will outline all the courses you must take and pass under the same conditions as a student at the host university. The agreement must be signed by the student, the coordinators from both universities, and the director of the academic year you have chosen to study abroad. This document will serve as a reference and guarantee for both your home and host universities.
Please note: Any application that is incomplete or submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
During your stay
During their exchange, students must notify the BRI of any changes to their academic agreement by emailing Ms. Fleur Lorrain.
Upon return: Have your mobility experience verified
Exams for courses taken at the host university are administered in accordance with the host university’s procedures and organizational structure.
In order to have your study abroad year officially recognized, you must submit your grades to the Office of International Relations as soon as you receive them.
