Studying Abroad
The Erasmus+ program allows students to spend 9 to 10 months studying in a European country with which the Montpellier School of Pharmacy has signed an inter-institutional agreement:available destinations.
This mobility program is intended for third-year students participating in educational exchange programs. It may be extended to fourth- and fifth-year students in the pharmacy program to complete their internships (in research and industry).
For programs outside the pharmacy field, students are encouraged to contact their program coordinators and the BRIto learn about the mobility opportunities available to them.
Requirements for Traveling Abroad
- You must be enrolled in the School of Pharmacy before you leave
- You must pass your academic year
- You must compile the various parts of the ERASMUS administrative and academic file in accordance with the required procedures and deadlines.
Planning Your Trip
A trip abroad should be planned 10 months in advance
- Students who wish to participate in an exchange program must prepare the necessary administrative and academic paperwork. They should contact the administrative coordinator (Ms. Fleur Lorrain), who will provide them with the necessary forms and information.
- To choose courses that are as similar as possible to those at your home university, you should review the course catalogs ofpartner universities on their websites. After reviewing the courses, you should contact the faculty members responsible for your chosen destination, who are designated as coordinators. The coordinator will help you prepare your learning agreement. This agreement will outline all the courses you must take and complete under the same conditions as a student at the host university. The agreement must be signed by the student, the coordinators from both universities, and the director of the academic year you have chosen to study abroad. This document will serve as a reference and guarantee for both your home and host universities.
Please note: Any application that is incomplete or submitted after the deadline will be dismissed.
During the stay
During their exchange, students must notify the BRI of any changes to their academic agreement by emailing Ms. Fleur Lorrain.
Upon Return: Have Your Mobility Experience Verified
Exams for the course units taken at the host university are administered in accordance with the host university’s procedures and organizational structure.
In order to have your study abroad year officially recognized, you must submit your grades to the Office of International Relations as soon as you receive them.
