Traditional annual outing to the "Sensitive Natural Areas" along the banks of the ARN, organized by the SHHNH
Originally scheduled for Saturday, October 7, 2023, the traditional annual outing to the “Sensitive Natural Areas” along the banks of the ARN will take place on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
“The SHHNH Mycology Section invites you to discover mushrooms in various habitats of the Haut-Languedoc, to explore their diversity and that of the associated forest trees, and to discuss their life cycles and the toxicity of some of them”: outing leaders, Gérard Lévêque and Daniel Mousain.
This event is part of the Hérault Nature 2023 Environmental Program, “Fungal Diversity in the Haut-Languedoc.” Registration is free but required for all participants aged 8 and older. Registration is now open.

Registration is open until Friday, November 3, 2023, at 10:00 p.m. – Meeting Point 1, 8:15 a.m.: Géant Casino parking lot in Montpellier-Celleneuve,at the “Tonnelles” tram stop (see map); carpooling will be organized.
– Meeting point 2, 10:30 a.m.: picnic area at the Domaine des Rives de l’Arn, at a place called “Le Moulinet , ” in the town of Soulié (34).
This event is part of a program designed to promote environmental education and the exploration of sensitive natural areas, organized in partnership between the Hérault Department and the COOPERE 34 network. The Hérault is yours to enjoy—come and explore!
