Colon Tour : A day to raise awareness of colorectal cancer

As part of Mars Bleu, a month dedicated to raising awareness of colorectal cancer, the Association Amicale des Étudiants en Pharmacie de Montpellier is organizing an information and prevention day at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Montpellier on March 27.

To mark the occasion, the League Against Cancer's giant colon will be set up in the faculty hall at 9:30 am. This interactive animation will inform the public about cancer screening and prevention. The stands of the various speakers will be accessible from 10am.

Program for the day

  • 11:30am: Opening remarks by Professor Dubois, President of the Ligue contre le cancer, in the presence of Dr. Aurélie Escande, Deputy Director of Campus Life at the Faculty. (Amphi B)
  • All day until 4pm Information and discussion stands with partner associations and structures:
  • Conferences (Amphi B) :
    • 12:00 pm: PENut'S talk on the role of nutrition in cancer prevention.
    • 12:45pm: Conference on the role of the pharmacist in cancer care.

The event ends at 4pm with the departure of the giant colon.

Students and staff from the University of Montpellier are invited to come and talk to healthcare professionals about colorectal cancer screening and prevention.
