Prof. Galas and Dr. Richaud in the Spotlight on TF1

On Friday, October 3, Professor Simon Galas and Dr. Myriam Richaud, two faculty members and researchers at the School, were featured in a report aired during TF1’s 8 p.m. newscast.

At the 2025 Mediterranean Night of Women Researchers, organized by Genopolys as part of the Mednight consortium, they introduced high school students to the tardigrade, a fascinating animal that they have been studying for many years at the Max Mousseron Institute of Biomolecules.

This microscopic organism is capable of surviving extreme conditions thanks to the production of unique proteins. These proteins are the subject of extensive research and could have applications in the field of healthcare.
