Professor Galas and Dr. Richaud featured on TF1
On Friday, October 3, Professor Simon Galas and Dr. Myriam Richaud, two faculty members and researchers, were featured in a report broadcast during TF1's 8 p.m. news program.
During Mediterranean Researchers' Night 2025, organized by Genopolys as part of the Mednight consortium, they introduced high school students to tardigrades, fascinating animals that they have been studying for many years at the Max Mousseron Biomolecules Institute.
This microscopic animal is able to survive extreme conditions thanks to the production of unique proteins. These proteins are the subject of extensive research and could find applications in the field of health.
Discover the report: Indestructible tardigrade: it's truly phenomenal!
