Inauguration of the Audiocampus Space

On October 11, 2024, the Espace Audiocampus was inaugurated at the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of Sophie Béjean, Rector of the Occitanie Academic Region, Lionel Collet, President of the Haute Autorité de Santé; Michaël Delafosse, Mayor of Montpellier and President of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole; Philippe Augé, President of the University; Vincent Lisowski, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; and Jean-Luc Puel, Director of the Audiocampus.

This project, funded to the tune of €2 million by Opération Campus and the University of Montpellier, covers 620 square meters and strengthens education and research in the field of hearing. Audiocampus offers three key programs, including the State Diploma in Audiology and the Master’s in Sensory and Motor Neuroprosthetics, while doubling its student capacity.

Backed by an Inserm laboratory, Audiocampus works in collaboration with cochlear implant manufacturers and Montpellier University Hospital to improve the management of hearing loss.
