Inauguration of Espace Audiocampus

On October 11, 2024, the Espace Audiocampus was inaugurated at the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of Sophie Béjean, Rector of the Occitanie academic region, Lionel Collet, President of the Haute Autorité de Santé, Michaël Delafosse, Mayor of Montpellier and President of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, Philippe Augé, President of the University, Vincent Lisowski, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Jean-Luc Puel, Director of the Audiocampus.

Financed to the tune of €2 million by Opération Campus and the University of Montpellier, this 620 m² project will strengthen training and research in the field of hearing. Audiocampus hosts three key training courses, including the Diplôme d'Etat d'Audioprothésiste and the Master Neuroprothèses Sensorielles et Motrices, while doubling its student intake capacity.

Backed by an Inserm laboratory, Audiocampus is working with cochlear implant manufacturers and Montpellier University Hospital to improve the management of hearing loss.
