New in Oncopharmacology
The University Diploma in Oncology Pharmacology is now open for enrollment for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The objective of this university diploma is to strengthen knowledge in fundamental, pharmacological, and clinical oncology (from biology to treatments) in order to optimize patient support throughout their care journey, whether in a hospital setting or at a pharmacy.
Today, cancer treatments (chemotherapy, oral therapies, immunotherapies, etc.) are transforming the care pathway, requiring optimal support from pharmacists, from the hospital to the pharmacy.
This university diploma offers training in the form of a core curriculum required for all participants, followed by a choice of specializations:
- route 1 retail pharmacy
- route 2 industrial hospital.
The University Diploma in Oncology Pharmacology from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Montpellier is a technical and practical training course designed to ensure the safety of cancer care pathways. It is taught by experts in the field (oncologists, pharmacologists, hospital and community pharmacists, IPA, patient partners, etc.).
New for 2024
As part of the 1 pharmacy program, the university diploma allows you to obtain the necessary training to support and provide colorectal cancer screening kits to patients, in collaboration with the Occitanie Regional Colorectal Cancer Screening Center (CRCDC).
