New DU Onco-pharmacology

The University Diploma in Onco-Pharmacology is open for enrolment for the year 2024-2025.

The aim of this DU is to enhance knowledge of fundamental, pharmacological and clinical oncology (from biology to treatment), so as to optimize patient care, whether in hospital or in the pharmacy.

Today, cancer treatments (chemotherapy, oral therapies, immunotherapy, etc.) are transforming the care pathway, requiring optimal support from pharmacists, from the hospital to the pharmacy.

This DU offers training in the form of a core curriculum required by all participants, followed by a choice of courses:

• pathway 1 pharmacy
• route 2 industrial hospital.

The Onco Pharmacology University Diploma offered by the Montpellier Faculty of Pharmacy is a technical and practical training program designed to secure the oncology care pathway. It is taught by experts in the field (oncologists, pharmacologists, hospital and retail pharmacists, IPAs, patient partners, etc.).

New for 2024

As part of the 1-officine pathway, the DU program enables you to obtain the training you need to accompany patients and provide them with a colorectal cancer screening kit, in collaboration with the Occitanie RCDC.
