Marie Tanneau, a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy, receives the Académie Nationale de Pharmacie prize.
Marie Tanneau, a former student at Montpellier's Faculty of Pharmacy, won a prestigious prize from the Académie Nationale de Pharmacie in December 2023. Her thesis entitled "De la thériaque de Montpellier : entre science et croyance, mémoires de la reine des médicaments" earned her the Maurice Bouvet and Henri Bonnemain prize, rewarding excellence in the history of pharmacy.
This distinction marks a first for the UFR de Pharmacie de Montpellier. "It's very significant for our Faculty, which has a considerable historical heritage. I hope that this prize will arouse students' interest in the fascinating history of pharmacy, a field teeming with fascinating subjects", confides Marie Tanneau.
Marie Tanneau had already been awarded the prize for the best pharmacy thesis at the 2023 graduation ceremony. She currently works in a pharmacy in Arles.
