Welcoming the Shanghai University delegation

On December 4, 2023, the Faculty of Pharmacy was honored to welcome a delegation fromShanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences, as part of the strengthening and expansion of existing links at the heart of an educational partnership.

The members of the delegation were warmly welcomed by Vincent Lisowski, Dean of the Faculty, François Pierrot, Vice-President of the University of Montpellier in charge of international relations, Céline Delacourt-Gollain, Director of International Relations, Benjamin Nottelet, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy in charge of international relations, and Pierre-Antoine Bonnet, Head of the Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Health Products.

Signed in 2017, the agreement between the two Faculties provides for enriching educational exchanges for both students and teachers. Shanghai students are regularly welcomed to the Faculty of Pharmacy as part of the Master's program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and during discovery internships for undergraduate students. French students, for their part, benefit from internship opportunities in China thanks to this partnership. In addition, some of the Montpellier Faculty of Pharmacy's teaching staff contribute to training courses at Shanghai University.

On the strength of these years of fruitful collaboration, the two Faculties aspire to extend this cooperation to other courses, in particular the Master's degree in Nutrition and Food Science. In addition to the educational aspect of the exchanges, research is emerging as a promising avenue for the continued development of this international partnership.
