Pre-school-year tutoring workshop

The three health tutor associations—ATSM, ATP, and TSN—are offering their members a two-week Pre-Semester Training Course (SPR) from Monday, August 21, to Friday, September 1, at their respective teaching locations (the School of Pharmacy, the School of Medicine, or the Montpellier or Nîmes campuses).

Please note: This internship is open only to PASS or LAS students who have signed up for the tutoring program for the 2023–2024 academic year.

For students enrolled in the PASS program

This workshop allows tutors to present, through lectures and exercises, a review of key concepts and an overview of the entire first-semester PASS curriculum. During the workshop, a tour of the faculty facilities is organized (including a visit to the University Library and an introduction to student organizations) to help students become familiar with their new learning environment and provide them with the best possible support as they transition into higher education.

Note: If you would like to be assigned to the Pharmacy site, select ATP or the Flahault site as your assignment location.

For students enrolled in LAS

The course is conducted entirely online. The goal of this program is to introduce students to taking notes from handouts and to prepare them for the exercises they will be required to complete in DS, with a view to preparing for exams. This course thus allows students to get a head start on the academic year, but also enables them to begin the year with a solid work routine and to better tackle the challenges ahead.
