2022 Graduation Ceremony
After two years of the health crisis, the School of Pharmacy was finally able to resume its traditional graduation ceremony in its usual format. During the ceremony, each sixth-year student was presented with an olive tree and a sash to mark the end of their academic journey. The “Sylvie MUNIER” graduating class—named in honor of our colleague who passed away far too soon, and to whom Ms. Chantal MARION, Honorary Associate Professor, paid a heartfelt tribute—was thus celebrated.
Following the speeches by Dean Vincent LISOWSKI and President Philippe AUGÉ, André GOUROU—Associate Professor, Doctor of Pharmacy, and patron of this graduating class—bid farewell to the faculty and his students in a rather moving address.
The students, accompanied by their families, were treated to an evening of opera, as four singers performed at the event. Sandra Liz CARTAGENA, soprano; Eric SALHA, tenor; Eléna SOMMER, mezzo-soprano; and Anas SEGUIN, baritone, performed famous arias from French and Italian operas.
Several students who distinguished themselves during their university studies were honored: Lucie DROUZY (Andrée Mary Award for the best thesis), Marie ROS (Interfimo Award for the best thesis on a topic related to professional practice), Agathe CAZALS and Alexis MENARD (Award for the best pharmacy internship), Checrallah ODEIMI (Industry Track Award), Élodie MARTINEZ (Pharmacy Track Award), Aïcha BLOMEKE-EIBEN (Research Track Award), Clément HERSENT (Residency Track Award), Grégoire VEHRILLE-DHALLUIIN (Award for the Best Prescription Analysis), Arnaud BRAHIC, Vincinette LOPEZ, and Julien PRÉVOST (3rd, 2nd, and 1st prizes, respectively, for Academic Excellence).
